# Dashboard Menu Management - Modifier Groups

**Step-by-Step-Guide:**

**Step 1:** **Access Modifier Groups**

**1a.** Navigate to the **"Menu Management"** section in your system.

**1b**. Look for the option labeled **"Groups"** and select it.

**Step 2:** **Initiate New Modifier Group**

Inside the Modifier Groups section, you'll find a button labeled **"+ New Groups (Modifiers/Add-Ons)".** Click on this button to start the process of creating a new modifier group.

**Step 3:** **Enter Group Details**

A form will appear, prompting you to input various details for the new modifier group. Fill out the following fields:

* **Modifier Group Name:** Provide a descriptive name for the modifier group.
* **Modifier Group Position:** Set the position of the modifier group. This position determines the display order of the groups when customers are placing orders through the POS system.
* **Modifier Group Type:** Choose between two options: Add-ons or modifiers. Select the appropriate type for your modifier group.
* **Modifier Group Display Name:** Enter a display name that will be shown on the product customization screen. Make it clear and concise.
* **Assigned KDS (Kitchen Display System):** Choose a KDS that will handle the item. You can add a new KDS configuration via the **"+"** sign.
* **Assigned Printer:** Select a printer for receipts or kitchen slips. Use the **"+"** sign to quickly add printer settings.

**Add-Ons/Modifiers Management**

* **Position and Add-on Name:** Manage positions and names for add-ons/modifiers.

**Step 4:** **Advanced Settings**

* **Are Options Mandatory:** Decide if selecting an option is required. Toggle **"Yes" or "No"** based on necessity.
* **Minimum and Maximum Number of Selections:** Define the range of selections a customer can make to tailor their experience.

**Step 5:** **Save Your Changes**

After you've filled out the necessary information and configured the advanced settings, don't forget to save your changes. Look for a  **Save** or **Confirm** button on the form and click it to finalize the creation of the new modifier group.

By following these steps, you can easily create a new modifier group and enhance the customization options for your products. This ensures that your customers can tailor their orders to their preferences, providing them with a more personalized dining experience.
