# eatOS App: Initiating a Partial Refund

* Here's a straightforward guide to initiating a partial refund using the eatOS app:

**Step 1:** Access the refund options via the app's navigation bar. Tap on **"Tickets"** from the left-hand side to start the process.

**Step 2:** Choose the specific completed ticket that requires a refund. Remember, only completed tickets can be refunded.

**Step 3:** Within the selected ticket, identify the item(s) needing a refund. Swipe left on the item and tap **"Refund"** to start the process.

**Step 4:** You'll be asked to select a reason for the refund from the available options. Make sure to choose the correct reason.

**Step 5:** After selecting the reason, confirm by tapping **"Done"** to proceed. This updates the transaction status to **"Partially Refunded,"** indicating the refund process has begun.

**Step 6:** The status will now show as **"Partially Refunded,"** confirming the refund process initiation.
