The printer will produce two sheets of information. Keep the second sheet, as it will display the detected IP address within a bordered box. This sheet also contains subnet and gateway information. The initial three sets of numbers in the IP address should match, followed by a distinct set of numbers. --- ### Category Routing Level The following guide will show you how to route categories once you have named your printers on the Point of Sale. Please follow the steps above to reset your printer: **Step 1:** Turn the printer on to confirm you have a solid green light for **Power**. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/74260be74e639800/124a6bce-ed7e-4ee0-abfc-532a91_rxg3tv.png) **Step 2:** Look behind your printer where your Ethernet cable plugs into the network interface card. Next to the cable, there will be an **“SW”** red button ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/74260be74e639800/87d0e391-2220-4740-a631-23158c_1rm60ng.png) **Step 3:** With a small screwdriver or pin, press the **“SW”** button until you see both the **NIC LED** lights start blinking, immediately release the **“SW”** button. Both **NIC LED** lights should remain solid ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/74260be74e639800/9080be2b-af08-4749-8de2-ce2e5f_112c4g8.png) **Step 4:** Press on the **“SW”** button one more time until both **NIC LED** lights are turned Off, then release the button. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/74260be74e639800/9a803415-f4b0-41db-aa39-bf8341_3zc1jf.png) **Step 5:** Lastly, confirm with a self-test page that the printer was able to reset the **NIC** card successfully. Power **off** your printer, locate the **Feed** button in front of your printer, hold down the **Feed** button while you power **on**, this should start to print two pages, depending on the printer, it will make a clicking sound. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/74260be74e639800/9ba3727e-d32b-4bfc-bad3-a713c4_1grqtge.png) ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/74260be74e639800/182106b5-0265-4fb3-9c69-224723_1wcy5z3.png) * **Receipt Not Printing** If your printer happens to not print after orders have been fired, please follow the steps below to help fix the issue. || Note: The printer is only compatible with thermal receipt paper. **Step 1:** Ensure you have the correct paper roll. **Step 2:** If thermal receipt paper is inserted, please try to flip the paper over, and make sure the tongue is coming from on top and not from the bottom. **Step 3:** Make sure the lid of the printer is closed properly. **Step 4:** Open the lid of the printer and make sure there is no jammed paper. If the issue is still persistent after following the steps above. Please reach out to eatOS Support. * **Printer Light Error** | Issue | Solution | | ---- | | Green and solid red light | Rear cover is open. To fix the issue, please close it correctly | | Flashing GREEN Light and Solid RED Light | The Front cover is open. To fix the issue, please close it correctly | | Solid Green light + Flashing RED light | Paper is out, Replace paper roll | | Flashing RED & GREEN light every 2 seconds | The Ethernet may have disconnected to fix the issue; please make sure an Ethernet cable is connected correctly. May require trying another cable and another Ethernet port on the router or switch. | | Both GREEN and RED lights are flashing erratically | IP Addresses have been lost. Fix this issue by making sure the Ethernet cable is properly connected and not lost.
