# Managing Online Order Schedules

The eatOS dashboard provides flexible scheduling tools that help restaurants efficiently manage online orders and deliveries. With automated scheduling controls, operations can streamline order management, improve kitchen workflows, and provide a better customer experience.


### Scheduling Features

The Online ordering scheduling settings allow you to control when customers can place orders and how far in advance, they can schedule them.

1. Scheduled Orders

Enable or disable scheduled ordering to allow customers to place orders for a future date and time.

2. Days Count

Use the Days Count setting to specify how many days in advance customers can schedule an order.

This feature is especially useful for: 

* Catering orders
* Holiday promotions
* Large events
* High-demand periods

3. Schedule Categories

Create custom schedule categories to support different order types and preparation requirements.

* Click **+ New Schedule Category** 
* Select the desired category.
* Enter the number of days in advance that customers must schedule orders for that category.

This setting helps ensure adequate preparation time and supports efficient order management.
