# Password Reset Guide Reset in eatOS POS

### Forgot Password Reset Guide

If you've forgotten your password and need to reset it, follow these steps:

**Step 1: Navigate to the Login Page**

* Launch the eatOS POS application.
* Navigate to the login screen.

**Step 2: Initiate Password Reset**

* Click on the **"Forgot Your Password?"** button located below the password field.

**Step 3: Provide Required Information**

* Enter your registered **email address or mobile number.**
* Click Send **OTP** to receive a One-Time Password for verification.

**Step 4: Confirm Your Identity**

* Check your email or **SMS** for the OTP sent by the system.
* Enter the received OTP in the specified field on the verification page.

**Step 5: Create a New Password**

* Follow the prompts to create a new password.
* Enter your desired new password and confirm it by typing it again.
* Click **Create Password** to complete the reset process.

### Change Password

To change your password from within the eatOS POS system, follow these steps:

**Step 1: Access the New Order Screen**

* Log in to your eatOS POS account.

**Step 2: Open Settings**

* Slide down the settings bar from the top of the screen.
* Select **Restaurant** from the settings menu.

**Step 3: Navigate to Profile**

* Click on your **Profile**.
* Select **Security** from the profile options.

**Step 4: Update Your Password**

* Enter your **current password** to verify your identity.
* Type in your **new password** and **reconfirm** by typing it again.
* Save the changes to update your password securely.
