**Step 1:** Access Settings: Navigate to the new order screen within your point-of-sale system. Here, you can either tap the downward-pointing arrow (**a**) or slide down the settings bar (**b**).

**Step 2:** Tap on **Advanced**.

**Step 3:** Once in advanced settings, click on **Card Reader.** This will open the Card Reader configuration screen.

**Step 4:** Detect and Pair Card Reader 

On the Card Reader screen, click on the **Detect Card Reader** button to begin scanning for available card readers.

The system will search for nearby card readers and display them in the list.

**Step 5:** Select the Card Reader:

* From the detected card readers list, select the card reader you want to configure by clicking on it. 
* Once selected, ensure that the status indicates the card reader is connected and ready for transactions.
