Connecting Your POS to a Customer-Facing Display: A Step-by-Step Guide

If you're looking to enhance your business operations by integrating your Point-of-Sale (POS) system with a Customer-Facing Display (CFD), you're in the right place. This comprehensive guide will take you through the process of establishing a seamless connection using both IP Address and Bluetooth methods.

Connecting via IP Address

Retrieve CFD IP Address: Begin by holding the Customer-Facing Display (CFD Screen) and noting down the displayed IP address.



Initiate Connection from POS: On your Point-of-Sale screen, locate the connection button situated at the upper right corner.



Initiate Connection: Tap the connection button, and you'll receive prompts on how to proceed with the CFD connection.

Select HTTP Connection: Choose the HTTP option to connect using the IP address of your CFD device.



a. Enter the CFD IP Address and tap the CONNECT button.



Connection Status: - A "Connected" status will be displayed once the connection is successfully established.



Connecting via Bluetooth

Enable Bluetooth Visibility: To connect via Bluetooth, start by tapping once on your CFD screen. This will prompt the Bluetooth pop-up status. Allow the device to be visible for pairing by selecting the "ALLOW" option.



Initiate Connection from POS: On the Point-of-Sale screen, once again tap the connection button located in the upper right corner. Select the Bluetooth option and follow the provided instructions to connect with the Customer-Facing Display (CFD).



Choose Bluetooth Device: From the list of available Bluetooth devices, choose the desired CFD device and tap "Connect."
