# Viewing the Variant Sales Report

### Overview

The Variant Sales Report provides a detailed breakdown of sales by product variant within a selected date and time range. This report helps you analyze how different variants (such as size, flavor, color, or custom options) are performing, along with the quantity sold, sales value, tax collected, and total sales.

This report is useful for:

* Comparing sales performance across product variants.
* Identifying best-selling and low-performing variants.
* Reviewing tax collected by variant.
* Supporting inventory and purchasing decisions.

### How to Access the Report

1. Navigate to **Analytics & Reports.**
2. Select **Product Sales.**
3. Click **Variant Sales Report.**

### Selecting the Report Period

At the top of the page:

1. Select the **"From"** date and time.
2. Select the **"To"** date and time.
3. The report refreshes to display sales for the selected period.

### Summary Section

The summary cards at the top provide a quick overview of variant sales.

| Field | Description |
| ---- |
| Total Qty Sold | Total number of variant items sold during the selected period. |
| Products with Variants | Number of products that have recorded variant sales. |
| Sales | Total sales value before tax. |
| Tax on Sales | Total tax collected from variant sales. |
| Total Sales | Total sales including tax. |

### Report Details

The report displays each product variant in a detailed table.

| Column | Description |
| ---- |
| Product Code | Product identifier or SKU |
| Product Name | Name of the product sold. |
| Variant | Specific product variant |
| Qty | Quantity sold. |
| Sales | Total sales amount before tax. |
| Tax on Sales | Tax collected for the variant sales. |
| Total Sales | Total sales including tax. |

### Exporting the Report

To download the report:

1. Click the **Export** button in the top-right corner.
2. Select the preferred export format.
