Advanced Printer Settings in Your POS System

Overview


Advanced printer settings provide you with the ability to customize preferences, optimize performance, and manage features to align with your business needs. This guide will walk you through configuring these advanced settings to enhance efficiency and customer service.


Accessing Advanced Printer Settings


  1. Go to Hardware in the settings sidebar and click Printers.


  1. Select **Advanced Settings **to access additional customization options.



Bill Settings


  • Auto Print: Enable or disable automatic printing of bills
  • Display on Single Item: Choose to display bills for single items.
  • Free Items on Bill: Decide whether to show free items on the bill.
  • Free Modifiers on Bill: Option to include free modifiers on bills.


Receipt Settings



  • Auto Print: Enable automatic printing of receipts after transactions
  • Auto Print Refund Receipt: Automatically print receipts
  • Itemized Receipt: Choose whether receipts should be itemized.
  • Print Customer Copy: Enable printing of a customer copy of the receipt.
  • Suggested Gratuity on Receipt: Display suggested gratuity amount.
  • Print Clock-in, Clock-out, and Break Report: Include timekeeping reports on receipts.


Kitchen Settings


  • Large Kitchen Order Ticket Item Text: Enable larger text for item descriptions on kitchen tickets.
  • Large Kitchen Order Ticket Order Number: Display larger order numbers.
  • Print Each Item Individually: Opt to print tickets for each item separately.
  • Reverse Kitchen Order Ticket Font Style: Change the font style for kitchen tickets, if needed.
  • Kitchen Order Ticket Modifier Size: Adjust the size of modifiers (Tall, Wide, Bold).
  • Kitchen Order Ticket Print With: Customize what information prints with kitchen tickets.


Signature and Tip Line


  • Enable Signature and Tip Line: Allow space for signatures and tips on receipts.
  • For Sales Over: Set a threshold amount for when the tip line appears, defaulting at $0.00


By customizing these advanced printer settings, you can tailor your POS system to meet specific operational needs, thus enhancing employee efficiency and improving customer service.
