Configuring Paired Printers in Your POS System

Properly setting up printers in your POS system is crucial for efficiently handling tasks like sales summaries, inventory reports, and employee timecards. This guide will walk you through configuring your paired printers to ensure seamless operations.

Accessing Paired Printers Settings

  1. Go to Hardware in the settings sidebar and click on Printers.

  1. Detecting Printers


a. Detect Devices: Click the Detect button to search for available printers. Ensure all printers are powered on and properly connected to be detected.


  1. Configuring Printer Types


a. Default KOT Printer Model


  • Assign the printer designated for Kitchen Order Tickets (KOT)
  • Verify that the correct printer is paired and ready for use.


b. Default Bill/Receipt Printer


  • Set up the primer for billing and receipts.
  • Ensure it is properly connected and functioning.


c. Default Custom Item Printer


  • Designate a printer for custom items.
  • Verify the printer's connection status to ensure reliability.

Test Print


  • Use the Test button to confirm each printer is functioning correctly. This ensures that all print tasks will proceed smoothly during operations.
