Step 1: Access Menu Management: Open your eatOS Dashboard and locate the left-side navigation bar. Click on Menu Management.



Step 2: Navigate to Taxes: Scroll through the Menu Management Section until you find Taxes and select this option.



Step 3: Fetch Tax Rate: Look for the Fetch Tax Rate button and click on it to retrieve the most up-to-date tax information.



Step 4: Select Tax Rate: Once the information loads, tap on the Select button to proceed.



Step 5: Review the Tax Breakdown: Explore the detailed breakdown of the displayed Tax Rate. Close the breakdown by tapping the X icon, or create a new tax for your products by using the Create Tax button.



Note: The tax rate is based on the Restaurant's Location.


How to Apply the Fetched Tax Rate



To apply the fetched tax rate, proceed as follows:

After tapping the "Create Tax" button, the fetched tax will appear in your active taxes list.



To apply the tax:

a. Hover over the fetched tax in the "Date Created" column and click "Edit."


b. Apply the tax to the relevant products.


c. You can either Select All to apply it to all products or choose specific products to which the tax applies.
