Do I Need An Internet Connection To Use eatOS?
eatOS uses the Internet to process card payments and requires your mobile phone to be connected to the Internet. This could be through WiFi or an Internet plan with your mobile service provider. The data usage per transaction is minimal. No signal? No problem. eatOS works offline so that you can record transactions even when the Internet is down. Transactions taken offline are automatically synced when your connection comes back.
