How to Add Job Type and Pay Rate

Adding a New Job Type



Step 1: To add a New Job Type, on your eatOS dashboard, navigate to the left side navigation bar and tap on Workforce



Step 2: Then on the Workforce section tap on Job Types



Step 3: Tap on + New Job Type



Step 4: Entering Information:


* Fill in the necessary information for the new job type:



Field

Description

Job Type Name*

Enter the name of the job type.

Job code*

Provide a unique job code.

Job type color

Choose a color to represent the job type.

Default rate*

Specify the hourly rate for the job type.

Overtime rate*

Enter the rate for overtime hours.

Double Time rate*

Enter the rate for double-time hours.


Step 5: Saving the Job Type:


Tap “Save” to save a new job type or tap on Cancel to disregard the changes made for the new role.





Update the Employee Pay Rate



Step 1: On your Job Type Section hover over the job type that needs a pay rate update and tap on the Edit Icon



Step 2: On the Edit Job Type Section navigate to the Pay Information and update the needed Pay Rates. Once updated, the changes will be automatically saved.




Specific Employee



Step 1: To update a specific employee's pay rate navigate to Workforce on your eatOS Dashboard



Step 2: Next on the Workforce Section tap on Employees



Step 3: Select the preferred employee by hovering over the Employee Name and tap on the Edit Icon



Step 4: Navigate down to the Payroll Details and update the needed information for the Employee's Pay Rate

Set the employee's base pay

Overtime Base Rate*

Set the employee's overtime base pay

Double Time Base Rate*

Set the employee's double time pay

Max Hours Daily*

Set the maximum number of hours the employee works per day

Max Hours Weekly*

Set the maximum number of hours the employee works per week

Double Time Max Hours*

Set the maximum number of hours the employee works can render double time per day

Double Time Max Hours weekly*

Set the maximum number of hours the employee works can render double time per week
