Managing Menu Modifiers in Point of Sale
Introduction
This guide will walk you through accessing, adding, and archiving menu modifiers on your POS system. Modifiers allow you to tailor menu items to specific customer needs, enhancing their overall dining experience.
Accessing Menu Modifiers
Step 1: Open Menu Settings
- Pull down the settings bar in the Point-of-Sale new order screen.

- Click on Menu to access the menu options.

- In the Menu section, select Modifiers to view and manage them.

Adding a New Modifier
Step 1. Tap the plus (+) icon to add a new modifier.

Step 2. Enter Modifier Details
- Order Type Tag: Choose the applicable order type.
- Modifier Name: Enter the name of the modifier.
- Can this Modifier be Served?: Toggle to enable or disable if the modifier can be served separately with the main order.
- 86 this Modifier?: Toggle to indicate availability.
- Does this Modifier Have Options?: Toggle to specify if options are available.
- Maximum Number of Selections: Set the limit on selections.

Archiving a Modifier
Step 1. Swipe the desired modifier to reveal the archive option.
Step 2. Tap the Archive button to remove it from active use.
