Managing Payment Options in Your POS

Overview


Our Point of Sale (POS) system offers an array of payment options to cater to varied customer preferences. This guide will help you effectively manage and utilize these payment options, ensuring a seamless checkout experience for your customers


Accessing Payment Options


  • From the new order screen, slide the settings bar down.

  • Select Payment to be directed to the Payments section

  • Click on Payment Options to view and manage the available payment methods.


Available Payment Methods


Within the Payment Options menu, you can select multiple methods:



  • Cash: Accept direct cash transactions.
  • External Credit Card (CC): Manage payments through an external credit card system.
  • Card: Accept standard card payments.
  • Manual Credit Card: Manually enter credit card information for processing.
  • Manual Card: Use manual entry for card transactions.
  • Grubhub: Accept payments via Grubhub's platform.
  • Gift Card: Allow customers to pay using gift cards.
  • UberEats: Process transactions made through UberEats.
  • Account: Enable payment directly from customer accounts.
  • DoorDash: Accept payments through DoodDash.
  • Loyalty: Utilize loyalty points for transactions.
  • Pay By Link: Send payment links for remote transactions


Managing Payment Options


  • Enable/Disable Payments: Use the toggle switches next to each payment option to enable or disable them according to your business needs.


Tips for Using Payment Options


  • Ensure your device is updated to support all payment methods.
  • Regularly review and update the enabled payment options to align with customer preferences and business policies.
  • Utilize the Payment Processing Platform setting to configure the processor handling your transactions.


By effectively managing these payment options, you can provide a flexible and seamless checkout experience for your customers, enhancing satisfaction and potentially increasing sales.
