How to select and detect printers

This article is here to assist you in taking a look at your paired printers and running a test to ensure everything is printing accurately.

Get your point of sale up and running in no time with our printer selection and detection service. We make it easy to find the perfect printer for your needs and get it running quickly.



Step 1 : From your new order screen tap the drop down arrow (a) or slide the setting bar down (b):



Step 2: Tap on Advanced



Step 3: On the left hand navbar tap on Paired Printer



Step 4: Tap on Detect Device, You will then see the printers that are successfully detected



Step 5: Press and hold on the printer to edit and change the naming convention to your preference.



Step 6: After editing your printer name, select your designated printers and tap on Test Printer



Note: The test print function specifically applies to receipts. Once you've selected the default Bill/Receipt printer model, you can initiate a test print to preview the bill and receipt templates. This confirms the successful connection of your printer. For testing kitchen tickets, simply create a test order and send it to your kitchen.
