How to Create and Apply Taxes to Orders

Steps to Create and Apply Taxes
Follow these steps to effortlessly generate taxes and apply them to orders:
Access Order Settings: Navigate to your new order screen and either tap the drop-down arrow labeled (a) or slide down the settings bar labeled (b).
Tap on Payments
On the left hand navbar tap on TAXES. From here you can either update the existing tax or add a new one
Enter details (*= Mandatory Field)
a. Tax Name *
b. Tax Amount*
c. Tax Type - Currently the system only supports the exclusive tax.
d. Select which order type the new tax will be applied to
e. You can also apply the tax on a specific product by clicking on apply to product
Tap SAVE once completed
To apply tax on orders, select the no tax button > Re-tap to remove the tax.
By following these steps, you can easily generate and apply taxes to orders, enhancing your overall business efficiency.
