Resending or Reprinting Receipts

In a busy restaurant environment, the ability to quickly resend a digital receipt or reprint a physical receipt can significantly improve customer service. Utilizing the POS (Point of Sale) system, staff can efficiently handle these tasks. Here's a step-by-step guide based on the provided image.

Steps to Resend a Digital Receipt or Reprint a Receipt



Access the Order Ticket

Navigate to the relevant order ticket by selecting the "Tickets" option in the navigation menu on the left side of the POS system.

Here, you can view a list of all orders.



Select the Relevant Order



Identify and select the order for which you need to resend or reprint the receipt. The order details, including guest name, arrival time, and items ordered, will be displayed.

Tap the Printer Icon



Once you have selected the relevant order, locate the printer icon at the top right of the order details screen. Tap on this icon to initiate the process of resending or reprinting the receipt.

Send Customer Receipt

A "Send Customer Receipt" popup will appear. This popup provides options for resending the receipt via different methods:



Phone Number Field: Input the customer’s phone number to send the receipt as an SMS.
Email Receipt Field: Enter the customer’s email address to send the receipt via email.

After entering the necessary contact information, press the "Send Receipt" button to dispatch the receipt to the customer.

Restaurant Printing Options

If a physical receipt reprint is needed, utilize the printing options available at the bottom of the popup:



KOT: Print a Kitchen Order Ticket.
BILL: Print a bill for the guest.
RECEIPT: Print the customer’s receipt.
BILL + KOT: Print both the bill and a Kitchen Order Ticket.

Select the desired option to print the necessary documents.

Confirmation and Completion



Once the receipt has been sent digitally or printed, confirm with the customer that they have received it. Ensure that all their details are correct and that they are satisfied with the service.


By following these steps, restaurant staff can effectively manage receipt requests, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience for customers. Utilizing the POS system for such tasks not only enhances operational efficiency but also contributes to higher customer satisfaction.
