Shift Management in Your POS System


Overview


Managing shifts is essential to ensure smooth operations in your business. This guide will walk you through the process of accessing the shift management feature and adding a new shift for your employee.


Accessing Shift Management


  1. On the Point-of-Sale settings, select the Workforce option

  1. Tap on Shift to view the shift schedule and options.


Viewing and Managing Shifts


The shift section displays the scheduled periods when specific groups of employee's work, ensuring continuous operations and productivity



How to Add a Shift


  1. In the upper-right corner, tap he plus (+) icon to add a new shift.


  1. Enter shift details:


  1. Employee: Select an employee for this shift

  1. Start Date & End Date: Set the date range for the shift

  1. Shift: Choose the shift type.

  1. Shift Hours: Specify the number of hours

  1. Assign Section: Choose the section the employee will work in.

  1. Start Time & End Time: Set the specific times.

  1. Allow Overtime: Toggle if overtime is allowed.



Additional Options:


  1. Recurring: Set if the shift will repeat (Yes or No)

  1. Job Type: Select the job type from the list.

  1. Pay Rate: Enter the pay rate for the shift.

  1. Shift Notes: Add any notes related to the shift.


After entering all details, the shift will be automatically added to the schedule.


By using the shift feature, you can effectively manage employee schedules and maintain seamless business operations.
