Transferring a Ticket/Transaction in POS

Overview


In the Point of Sale (POS) system, you can easily transfer a ticket or transaction to another employee. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth handover. Please note that you cannot transfer a ticket if it has already been completed.


How to Transfer a Ticket/Transaction


  1. Start Order: Begin by accessing the order you wish to transfer.


  1. Tap the Transfer Button: Locate and tap the transfer button on the order screen.



  1. Select an Employee: A list of employees will appear. Choose the employee to whom you want to transfer the check.



  1. Tap Update: Once you've selected the employee, tap "Update".



  1. Confirmation Popup: A confirmation pop-up will appear. Tap "Update" again.



  1. Success Message: A message will appear indicating the ticket has been successfully transferred.



Post-Transfer Actions


  • Check the Ticket Section: View the transferred check in the ticket section for confirmation.
  • Manage the Ticket: You can still fire the ticket, add an item, or add a discount.


Note: You will be unable to charge the transaction until it is finalized by the responsible employee.
