Navigating the Default Modifiers





From the main dashboard, click on Menu Management.
Select Default Modifiers from the list on the left.

Page Features:

Active and Archived Tabs: View current modifiers under "Active" and access past entries in the "Archived" tab.
Use the search bar to quickly find specific modifiers by name
Click + New Default Modifiers to input new options.

Modifier List:

Displays the name and details of each modifier (e.g., quantity and type).
Shows the creation date for tracking changes.

Best Practices:

Periodically check and update modifiers to align with menu changes
Verify ingredient stock and availability
Use standard, easy-to-understand terms for all entries.


How to Add or Create Default Modifiers



Adding a Default Modifiers

Step 1: Begin by accessing the menu management section and selecting "Default Modifiers."



Step 2: Select "+ New Default Modifiers" to initiate the addition of a new modifier.



Step 3: Input the required information:



3a. Specify the name of the default modifier (e.g., Bacon, Lettuce, Carrots).
3b. Select the appropriate type for the default modifier.
3c. Click "Save" to finalize and store the newly created default modifier.


How to Edit Default Modifier





Step 1: Locate the default modifier you wish to modify.
Step 2: Hover to the "Date Created" column.
Step 3: Choose "Edit" from the available options.
Step 4: Update the necessary details as required.


How to archive default modifier



Step 1: Select the default modifier you want to archive.
Step 2: Hover to the "Date Created" column
Step 3: Opt for "Archive" from the menu.



Step 4: Confirm the action by selecting "Yes, archive it!" Alternatively, you can choose to "Cancel" and retain the item.

Managing default modifiers effectively in a Point-of-Sale system.



How to add Default Modifiers:

From the new order screen, slide down the settings menu.


Select Menu.



Select Default Modifiers.


Tap the + Add button


Enter the default modifier name

Select the default modifier type

When done, tap X. Changes will be saved automatically.


How to edit a default modifier

To edit, simply select and tap the item you wish to edit, and the edit pop-up will appear. You can either make your edits or tap the archive button to delete the selected item.


How to Archive a Default Modifier

Select the default modifier you wish to archive

Tap the archive button


The system will prompt for confirmation, tap the archive button to confirm, or tap X to go back without archiving the item
