How to add and edit a new Category on the Point of Sale

How to Add a New Category



Step 1: From your new order screen tap the drop-down arrow (a) or slide the setting bar down (b):



Step 2: Tap on Menu Management



Step 3: On the left-hand Navbar tap on Categories



Step 4: Tap on Add



Step 5: Enter the required information:

a. Category Name
b. Course Name
c. Category Position
d. Course Position
e. Enter the menu name (how the category will be displayed on the screen)
f. Parent Category (Select the parent category i.e., Food (Parent category) Sandwiches (Subcategory))
g. Assigned Printer (Select a designated printer)
h. Label Printing - If enabled, your tickets will be itemized
i. Products (Select products that will be applied to the subcategory)

Step 6: Tap on Save once completed

How to Edit an existing category



Step 7: From Menu Management, Tap on the category sub-tab and proceed by selecting a category from the list available



a. Edit Category - Begin to edit and make changes to the Category

Note: Changes made to a category will be saved automatically



b. Archive Category - Tap on the Archive icon to archive the category.
