Adding or Editing a Tip on Dashboard
Step 1: On your eatOS Dashboard navigate to your left side navigation bar and tap on Sales.
Step 2: On the "Sales" section navigate and tap on Transactions
Step 3: On the Transaction Section you will be able to see the list of Sales Transaction select the transaction that needs the tip amount added or updated.
Step 4: After selecting the sales transaction tap on Edit Order
Step 5: An OTP or Authentication code will be sent to your Store Manager's email, enter the Authentication code and tap on verify to proceed.
Step 6: Next tap on the transaction you want to edit.
Step 7: Input the tip amount.

Step 8: Tap Update to save the changes made.
Note: The feature is only available on the dashboard until the specified batch closing time is determined by establishment management.
Adding or Editing a Tip on POS
Step 1: To update tips on the POS, on your main screen navigate to the left side navigation bar and tap on Tickets
Step 2: On the Tickets Section select the Order Ticket that needs the tip to be updated
Note: Please ensure that the ticket is not closed to allow editing of tips on the POS. You can add or adjust a tip on a paid or closed check any time during the same business day using the eatOS dashboard. Refer to the "Adding or Editing a Tip on Dashboard" section for more details.
Step 3: Slide the Total Cash Payment to the left.
Step 4: Tap on Add tip (If there's no tip added yet) or Edit Tip (If there is an existing tip amount)
Step 5: Input the new Tip Amount and tap the "X" icon to save the changes
Note: The feature is only available before closing a check. If a check is closed, the manager can be requested to edit the tip via the dashboard.
