Getting Started

To get started on navigating to your Kiosk Gratuity make sure you have an eatOS account. If you don’t have an eatOS account you may follow this guide link here

Step 1: If you already have an account you may start by logging in your activated eatOS account on the eatOS login page.

Step 2: After logging in you will be redirected to the eatOS dashboard.

Step 3: Navigate to the left side navigation bar and first go to integrations and select a card reader for integrations.

Info: Tizen Kiosks have built-in card readers while Android Kiosks have a separate card reader.

Step 4: Configure your Dynamic Kiosk settings by navigating to the left side navigation bar and selecting Hardware.

Step 5: Filter the list of hardware using the dropdown menu then select Kiosk Device.

To integrate your card reader for your Self-Service Kiosk, follow these steps:

Step 1: From the dashboard navigate to the left side navigation bar then tap on Integrations.

Step: 2: Select the preferred integrations for your Kiosk Poynt, Card connect, or Stripe.

Step 3: After selecting the preferred card reader for integration tap on install.

Configuring Kiosk Settings

To configure your dynamic gratuity settings,

Note: Please follow these steps accordingly as you will not be able to proceed if you skip a step.

Step 1: Navigate to the left side navigation bar and tap on Hardware.

Step 2: If you already have a device setup you may filter the hardware list by tapping on the dropdown menu and selecting Kiosk Device

Step 3: Hover over your connected device, under the Date Created select the edit icon

Step 4: You will be then redirected to the General Settings. Kiosk Guide

4a. Update the needed information for the Device Information

4b. Enable or Disable the Customize settings

4c. Select a revenue center for the kiosk

Note: make sure to assign an employee or a dummy employee for each kiosk revenue center. As it acts as an independent cashier.

4d. Hardware Settings select the preferred card reader, KOT or Kitchen Order Ticket, and Receipt printer.

4e. Enable and disable the preferred settings for Bill Settings, Receipt Settings, KOT Settings
i. Bill Settings

ii. Receipt Settings

iii. KOT Settings

4f. Advance Settings enable or disable auto-start

i. Select an employee to receive an email if an order is placed

ii. Setup a preferred restart time for the Kiosk

iv. Enable or Disable the control panel password request

v. Set up the control panel password.

Step 5: Home Screen settings allow you to customize your home screen display.

5a. Update the preferred Logo settings

5b. Update the preferred welcome image settings

5c. Update the preferred welcome message settings

5d. Update the idle screen settings

5e. Select the preferred payment method accepted

5f. Enable or disable the QR code on the home screen

Step 6: Menu Settings

6a. Update the preferred Logo on the Logo settings

6b. Update the banner on the banner settings

6c. Update the menu display settings

Note: the current supported language is English and Spanish

Step 7: Update the Checkout Settings

7a. Set a checkout cart text

7b. In the Gratuity settings, you have the flexibility to toggle it on or off according to your preference. Additionally, you can enable or disable the custom gratuity amount feature. You also have the option to choose or set a preset gratuity amount for totals both under and over $10.

Step 8: For order preview

8a. Set an order preview and order number screen text

8b.You can choose to enable or disable SMS order confirmations and text previews for orders that are prepared and ready.
