Login – your eatOS Kiosk device can be accessed with the same login credential as your point of sale
For stand-alone Kiosk, you will need to input your 24-digit activation code on the activation code page. However, for POS-integrated Kiosks, an activation code is no longer needed and will be directed to Kiosk settings after a successful login
Kiosk Settings
IMPORTANT:
Kiosk Device Name – name your kiosk device
The Kiosk device Name will be associated with the Kiosk device for navigating print kitchen tickets for any kiosk ticket. The indicated name should be recognized by the kitchen and staff .
The assigned user, when logged in, will simply make the Kiosk act as an employee. It becomes an independent employee taking payments. Hence, it is recommended to create a separate account for monitoring and reports.
Once successfully logged in to the device, you will be prompted to set the device settings.
Unlike other eatOS devices, Kiosk settings are hidden from the main screen to restrict customers from accessing the device settings and/or unauthorized changes. After the configuration of settings, you will be directed to the Welcome Home Screen.
The Settings button is hidden on the upper left side of your screen, and you can also put a PIN code on the settings.
All Kiosk settings can be configured or customized at the eatOS dashboard.

KIOSK MENU SETTINGS
Expand the categories drop-down from the list by toggling the arrow icon
a. Select or highlight categories to be available
i. Selected – (highlighted) category will be available for KIOSK ordering
ii. Not-selected – will not be shown on the KIOSK menu.
Select the Add-Ons to be available by expanding the add-ons drop-down
Selected add-ons will be available for kiosk ordering
KIOSK GENERAL SETTINGS
The kiosk general settings enable you to customize the device features and manage your user account.
What you can do:

Select the card reader attached to the kiosk
The card reader device allows your customers to pay by card/credit card when using the kiosk device.

This section allows you to manage the kiosk device user account, switch users, and log out device.
LRS Connection – use this section to connect to the LRS gateway
Tap SAVE to save general settings.
KIOSK GRATUITY SETTINGS

KIOSK PRINTER SETTINGS

Receipt bill printer | A receipt bill printer is used to print order bills and transaction receipts customizable for the customer and merchant copies |
KOT printer | Kitchen Order Ticket or KOT is a digital means of sending orders to the kitchen staff. The ticket includes details such as the table number, items ordered, and their quantity with the applied modifiers and add-ons |

Display on a single item | If enabled, check receipt will always display quantity on a single item |
Free item on bill | The free items will be included on the customer's check receipt if enabled. Free items do not have a listed price and will not be added to the total check amount. You can toggle it off for a less-cluttered check receipt |
Free modifiers on bill | An option to whether a free modifier should be included on the customer's check. You can toggle it off to disable it for a less-cluttered check receipt |

KIOSK ADVANCE SETTINGS
What you can do:
Connect to Server
a. DISCONNECT – select disconnect to disconnect to the server
b. MANUAL FETCH
Setup Device Name
Tap CONFIRM to save advanced settings.
Once you have successfully configured KIOSK settings, tap DONE and you will be directed to the WELCOME screen, and the KIOSK device now ready to accept dine-in and take-out orders
KIOSK ORDER SECTIONS
To begin, dismiss the welcome screen and select the order type:
DINE-IN – customer to select dine-in for dine-in orders
TAKE OUT - customer to select take out for take-out orders
Select the language option.
Once you have selected the order type, it will automatically redirect to the order menu page.
Restaurant customers can now navigate your restaurant menus by selecting categories from the menu tab (categories shown are the categories selected from menu settings)

Review Order = customer can review their order before checkout with an option to remove or modify the order (item)
a. Review items include:
i. QTY (quantity)
ii. Description = categories, modifiers and add-ons
iii. Price
iv. Action
X = to remove item (confirm by selecting YES/NO)
Edit Icon = modify order/item
KIOSK MENU Navigation
Category Choices (Tab) = Scroll down for more category choices
Products = All products applied to the category
HOW CUSTOMERS CAN ORDER AND PAY AT THE KIOSK
Select Category
Ex. Customer selects ENTREES.
Select Product the select modifiers and add-ons
Ex. The customer selected ALMOND CRUSTED SALMON selected no green beans and added FRIES. Tap ADD TO ORDER
Review Order – The customer can select X to remove an item or edit the icon to edit the item
Check Out – customer to select check out
After selecting CHECKOUT, customer can enter their mobile number to enable customers to receive order status notifications or select SKIP to continue without entering their mobile number
Select Payment Type
a. PAY HERE – card payment
b. PAY AT CASHIER – complete payment at the counter
To continue with card payment, add gratuity or tip
- Gratuity is only shown if gratuity settings are ENABLED
The Customer then selects how they would like to receive a receipt
a. Send receipt by email.
i. Select email and input the email address
b. Send receipt to the mobile
i. Select SMS and input your mobile number
c. Select PRINT to print the receipt
