To access the "Location Settings" feature, follow these steps: Go to the "Settings" and navigate to the "Restaurant" section. Within the section, locate and click on the "Location Settings" option





Delivery



Delivery is when a customer makes an order either through your restaurant online ordering, phone order, or through a 3rd party delivery service to deliver items/products to a specific location or address.

Note: The default order type for your eatOS point-of-sale includes dine-in, to-go, and banquet which can be seen in the order preview panel of the POS device.

Once enabled, the Delivery button will be visible on the order type selection.



To activate this feature, navigate to "Location Settings" and toggle the "Delivery" option to enable it.

Enable Merchant



The merchant feature is linked to the online ordering store to assist you in managing online order dispatch.



If this feature is enabled, the orderOS tab will be shown on the menu sidebar and able to receive and manage real-time orders from your online store.


If disabled, the orderOS tab will not be shown, and unable to manage online orders in the point-of-sale device.

Enable QR Bill/Receipt



Enabling this feature will provide QR bill receipts for your restaurant.

Enable QR Payment On CFD



QR payment gives your customer an additional mode of payment using QR.



If QR Payment On CFD is turned on, customers can pay using a QR code scanned through the CFD screen. If it's off, the QR payment option won't be available, and the QR code won't appear.

Force Check


Toggle to enable or disable the force check option.

Force Clock In



"Force Clock In" signifies a requirement for users to clock in upon accessing the point-of-sale device, ensuring their presence is logged for work-related activities.

Hide Break on PIN Screen



"Hide Break on PIN Screen" refers to the option to show or hide the break button on the PIN screen. When enabled, the break button is visible and functional; when disabled, the break button is hidden.

Hide Employee Feedback



When enabled, the "Hide Employee Feedback" feature disables or hides the feedback functionality for employees.

Hide Fire Button



The fire button permits you to dispatch the request to the kitchen for advance preparation of the items.


If activated, the fire button will not be visible on the new order preview page, preventing you from sending orders to the kitchen in advance.


If the option to hide the fire button is turned off, the fire button will be displayed, allowing you to send orders to the kitchen in advance.

Hide Seat Selector (FSR Responsive)



If the hide seat selector is enabled, the seat number is hidden on the new order page and the option to assign items to a specific seat is disabled.


If disabled, the seat number will be visible.

If enabled, the gratuity option will be available on checkout for card payment and manual cc.

Instabug


When activated, the Instabug button becomes visible on your point-of-sale screen, allowing you to promptly send bug reports to the development team.



This feature allows you to report a bug, suggest improvements for the app, and seek assistance, support, or address other inquiries.

Lock App After 5 Attempts



"Lock App After 5 Attempts" will trigger the app to lock after five unsuccessful access attempts.

Mandatory Order Type (QSR Responsive)



If enabled, "Mandatory Order Type" will necessitate selecting an order type for every transaction before finalizing the payment.

Menu Sorting



Menu Sorting: This feature empowers your app to organize menu selections according to your preferences. Choose "Default" to display the menu as it is, or select "Alphabetical" to arrange the menu in alphabetical order. You can utilize the drag-and-drop functionality to rearrange your menu items.

Require Manager Pin to Open Register



Enabling "Require Manager PIN to Open Register" requires that a manager's PIN is necessary to access the register.

Require Name In Order Type Selection





If this setting is turned on, users need to input a name after selecting the order type to proceed with payment. Once the charge button is tapped, the customer info form will appear for entering the customer's name.

Save Button in Order Placement





If the save button is enabled, the save icon will be displayed on the order preview tab. This button permits you to save the order, enabling you to return to it later. The saved ticket can be adjusted or finalized by accessing the tickets tab.

Split Check



Split check is when customers prefer or request for distribution of multiple products across multiple checks to split the total payment.


If this feature is enabled, you can perform split charge by seat, evenly and custom split – depending on the customer’s preferences.

Summary Print on Clock-Out



Summary Print on Clock-Out: When a user clocks out, it will prompt the printing of a sales summary report.

Show POS to KDS Switch



POS to KDS Toggle: When deactivated, the "Switch to KDS" button is not displayed on the POS screen.


POS to KDS Toggle: If activated, the "Switch to KDS" button becomes visible on the POS screen, providing swift access to the KDS.

Card Reader Beep



Card Reader Beep: When activated, the card reader emits a beep for notifications.

This feature enables notifications to be sent to the KDS when processing an order.

Request Tip From Card Reader: When activated, it will prompt the tip form during payment.

Debug Mode



When enabled, Debug mode allows users to send logs via the "About" section of the app or upload logs using the "Support" button.


Visual Reference: Send Logs (Settings > Advanced > About)


Visual Reference: Debug mode is disabled. The options to "Send Logs" and "Upload Logs" will not be accessible.
