POS Location Settings Navigation Guide

To access the "Location Settings" feature, follow these steps: Go to the "Settings" and navigate to the "Restaurant" section. Within the section, locate and click on the "Location Settings" option

DELIVERY

Delivery is when a customer makes an order either through your restaurant online ordering, phone order, or through a 3rd party delivery service to deliver items/products to a specific location or address.

Note: The default order type for your eatOS point-of-sale includes dine-in, to-go, and banquet which can be seen in the order preview panel of the POS device.
Once enabled, the Delivery button will be visible on the order type selection.

To activate the feature, go to the "Location Settings" and toggle the "Delivery" option to enable it.

MANDATORY ORDER TYPE (QSR Responsive)

If Mandatory Order Type is enabled, it will require every transaction to select order type before completing the payment.

To enable the feature, navigate through Location Settings and enable Delivery.

Disable the feature to skip order type.

HIDE SEAT SELECTOR (FSR Responsive)

If the hide seat selector is enabled, the seat number is hidden on the new order page and the option to assign items to a specific seat is disabled.

If disabled, the seat number will be visible.

SAVE BUTTON IN ORDER PLACEMENT

The save button, if enabled, the save icon is visible on the order preview tab.

The save button allows you to save the order and lets you go back later. The saved ticket can be modified or completed by going to the tickets tab.

ENABLE MERCHANT

The merchant feature is connected to the online ordering store to help you manage the online order dispatch.

If this feature is enabled, the orderOS tab will be shown on the menu sidebar and able to receive and manage real-time orders from your online store.

If disabled, the orderOS tab will not be shown, and unable to manage online orders in the point-of-sale device.
