Overview



The Tip Report feature in the eatOS dashboard Analytics & Reports module allows you to track and manage tips efficiently, ensuring that employee compensation is accurately recorded and distributed.

Accessing the Tip Report





From the dashboard, click on Analytics and Reports.
Under Labor, select Tip.

Selecting Date, Time, and Employee:



Use the date selector to choose your desired time frame.
Adjust the time range to fit daily operations.
Select an employee to view individual tip details.

Understanding the Tip Report



The Tip Report provides a comprehensive breakdown of tips earned during a selected period.

Key Report Elements:





Employee Name: Identify the employee receiving the tips.
Total Tips: Shows total tips accumulated for the given period.
Total Service Charge Tips: Indicates any additional service charge tips.

Detailed Breakdown:




Payment Type: Indicates whether the tip was received in cash, card, or other payment methods.
Order Number and Check ID: Helps trace back to specific transactions.
Store Name: Identifies the location associated with the tip, useful for multi-location operations.
Tip Amount: Specific tip value attached to the order.
