Filter through Gross Sales - Analytics and Reports



Step 1: Log in to the eatOS Dashboard.

Types of Gross Sales Analytics and Reports



Sales Transaction - Review and analyze detailed transactional data to optimize your restaurant's operations and revenue.


Daily Services Transactions - Easily monitor your restaurant's daily transactions and identify trends with our user-friendly daily service transaction page.


Itemized Sales - Analyze your restaurant's performance with our itemized sales report page, providing detailed insights into individual item sales and trends.


Tax Report - Monitor and modify restaurant tax effortlessly with our taxes page.

Filter Reports


The analytics and reports section in our intuitive dashboard can help you filter data, view custom date ranges, and order statuses.


Filter by:



  1. Date Range - by day, week, month, or a custom date range.


  1. Time Frame - View the report by preset time or custom time.


  1. Payment - View reports by payment used.


  1. Order Status - View transaction reports by order status of either paid or completed.


  1. Discount Type - Filter to either include a discount or not include the discount.

Export Reports


Reports can be sent to your email or can be exported to either PDF, CSV, or Excel form through the Export button.



Email report


Subscribe to Email - Select this feature to send the report to a selected user daily. The report is automatically sent to the selected user via email.


Send to Email allows you to email the report to a selected employee or user.

Gross Sales Transaction Summary Report


The gross sales transactions summary shows the transaction summary, sales by sub and parent category, and the mode of payment used by guests to pay.


What you can do:


  • View gross transaction summary within a preferred date range.


  • Filter by a specific time of the day by selecting the start and end times.


  • View gross transactions summary by payment status.


  • View gross transactions summary by order status.


  • And can view reports that include a discount.


  • Export, subscribe, and send a copy to the email of the gross transaction summary report by selecting the “Export” button.

How to Subscribe to a Report



Step 1: On the gross transaction summary tab, select “Export”



Step 2: Select “Subscribe to Email”



2a. Select employee - where to send the daily gross transaction report.

Step 1: On the gross transaction summary tab, select Export

How to Export the Gross Transaction Report

Step 2: Select the preferred file to download the report - PDF, CSV, or Excel

The gross sales transactions summary shows the transaction summary, sales by sub and parent category, and the mode of payment used by guests to pay.


Sales by Sub-Categories - It shows a list of subcategories that have been sold with the product count and amount, it also includes the total tax applied, total tips received, and total surcharges.


Sales by Parent Category - It shows the total parent category sold.


Payment Method - shows the mode of payment accepted

Gross Sales Daily Services Transactions Summary


The daily services transactions summary shows you a real-time snapshot of today's sales transactions generated by your restaurant.



Step 1: Navigate to “Analytics & Reports”

Step 2: Select “Gross Sales”

Step 3: And select “Daily Services Transactions” ****



What you can do:


  • View daily services transaction summary within a selected preferred date range


  • View daily services transaction summary within a specific time of the day


  • An option that allows you to filter the total discount to be included or not in the Daily Sales Transaction Summary.


  • Export, send a copy to email, and subscribe to a daily services transaction report by selecting the “Export” drop-down


Step 1: To subscribe, tap Export, select Subscribe to Email, and select the employee whom to send the daily transaction shift report.



Step 2: To send a copy of the report to email, tap export, select Send to Email, and enter the email address on the pop-up form, tap send.



Step 3: To export a report, tap Export, and select the preferred file type to download the summary report ( PDF, CSV, EXCEL).

Gross Sales Itemized Sales Summary



The itemized sales summary provides a detailed report of your product lineup, giving your insight into what products are selling, and which ones need more attention, with a specific count of each item/product coherent to each parent category.



What you can do:


  • View itemized sales summary within a selected preferred date range


  • View itemized sales summary within a specific time of the day


  • View report by order status


  • Export, send a copy to email, and subscribe to a daily itemized sales report by selecting the “Export” drop-down.


Step 1: To subscribe, tap Export, select Subscribe to Email, and select the employee - whom to send the itemized sales summary.


Step 2: To send a copy of the report to email, tap export, select Send to Email, and enter the email address on the pop-up form, tap send.


Step 3: To export a report, tap Export, and select the preferred file type to download the summary report ( PDF, CSV, EXCEL).
