Checking Printer Connectivity:

When facing printer issues after a paper reload, follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the problem:

Step 1: Is the Printer Online?

Check if the printer is online. Is the red light blinking?

Step 2: If Yes, Check:

Ensure the paper roll is inserted and properly closed.
Verify the USB, Ethernet, or RJ-11 connection.

Step 3: If No, Perform the Following:

Check if the printer is detectable in the Printer Advanced Settings.
If detected, test functions like Default Receipt Printer, Fire Order, and Print Receipt.
If not detected, turn off the printer and press the feed button for 3-5 seconds while turning it back on. Allow two sheets of paper to print.
If there's an IP detected on the second printout, proceed to Test Print.
If no IP is detected, retry printer reboot. If the IP still doesn't appear, there may be a local network connectivity issue on-site.

Printer Status and Reconnection:

Once the printer is online and detected:

Check the New Order Screen's status bar for "Printer Disconnected" in yellow.
If present, tap and hold down for 3-5 seconds to reset the status. Perform a Test Print.
