Creating Timed Pricing/Events for Your Restaurant

Timed pricing/events allow you to manage and offer special pricing at specific times for your restaurant. Follow the steps below to set up and manage these events using eatOS.


Accessing Timed Pricing/Events


  1. Navigate to the Dashboard:


  • Log in to your eatOS account.
  • From the main menu on the left, select Restaurant under the Setup section.



  1. Select Timed Pricing/Events:


  • Choose Timed Pricing/Events from the submenu.



Viewing Existing Timed Pricing/Events


  • You will see two tabs: Active and Archived.



  • The Active tab displays current timed pricing events, including:


Timed Pricing Name: Name of the event (e.g., Tuesday Special, Daily Special Discount).

Start Date: When the pricing starts.

End Date: When the pricing ends.

Days: Which days is the pricing effective for?



Creating a New Timed Pricing Event


  1. Click on "+ New Timed Pricing."



  1. Enter Timed Pricing Details:


  • Timed Pricing Name: Input the name of your pricing event.
  • Revenue Center: Select where this pricing applies (e.g., QSR, Kiosk, Online).
  • Ordering Source: Choose the applicable sources.
  • Start Date and End Date: Use the calendar to select the dates.



  1. Set Days Available and Timing:


  • Days: Check the boxes for the days the pricing should be active.
  • Timing: Specify the time range for each day. Use the "Next day" option if the pricing spans into the next day.



  1. Save Your Changes:


  • Click Save to finalize and activate the timed pricing.



Managing Timed Pricing


  • Edit: Navigate to an existing event from the Active tab to modify or delete it.
  • Archive: Move old events to the Archived tab for record-keeping or reactivation in the future.



By following these steps, you can effectively manage timed pricing events to enhance your restaurant's offerings and appeal to more customers.
