Daily Services Transactions Report

Overview


The Daily Services Transactions report provides a detailed breakdown of sales processed by service type for a selected date or date range. It summarizes transaction values, payment methods, product categories, and sales details, helping operators monitor daily business performance.

Purpose


Use this report to:


  • Review daily sales performance
  • Compare sales across different service types
  • Analyze payment method distribution.
  • Understand product category performance
  • Verify taxes, discounts, and fees collected.
  • Audit transaction totals.


Filters


Located at the top of the report:


Filter

Description

Date Range

Select a single day or custom date range.

Store

Choose the location to report on.

Service

Filter by a specific service (optional)




Summary Cards


The report begins with a financial summary.


Field

Description

Net Sales

Sales after discount but before tax.

Discounts

Total discounts applied

Gross Sales

Total sales before tax.

Tax

Total tax collected

Delivery Fees

Delivery charges collected

Service Charge

Additional service fees collected

Tips

Total gratuities received

Total Amount

Final amount collected from customers



These values provide a quick snapshot of business performance.



Transactions by Type


A pie chart displays how customers paid for their purchases.


Typical payment types include:


  • Cash
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • House Accounts
  • Other configured payment methods



This chart helps identify the most frequently used payment methods.



Product by Category


A donut chart shows how sales are distributed among product categories.


Examples:


  • Foods
  • Drinks
  • Miscellaneous



Use this visualization to identify which categories generate the highest sales volume



Sales Details Table


This section lists sales by category.


Columns include:


Column

Description

Location

Store where the sale occurred.

Category

Product category sold

Product Count

Number of products sold.

Amount

Sales value for that category


At the bottom of the table, totals are displayed for:


  • Subtotal
  • Tax
  • Tips
  • Delivery Fees
  • Service Charge
  • Grand Total




Category Sales


The Category Sales table summarizes sales by parent category


Columns include:


Column

Description

Location

Store location.

Parent Category Name

Main product grouping

Avg Cover

Average contribution percentage

Amount

Total sales for the category



This section helps determine which categories contribute the most revenue.


Multiple Service Sections


If multiple services exist for the selected period, the report displays a separate section for each service.


Each section contains:


  • Summary cards
  • Transactions by Type chart
  • Product by Category chart
  • Sales table
  • Category Sales table


This allows comparison between different service operations within the same reporting period


Exporting the Report


Click the Export button in the upper-right corner to download the report for sharing or further analysis.
