Step-by-Step-Guide:

Step 1: Access Modifier Groups

1a. Navigate to the "Menu Management" section in your system.
1b. Look for the option labeled "Groups" and select it.



Step 2: Initiate New Modifier Group

Inside the Modifier Groups section, you'll find a button labeled "+ New Groups (Modifiers/Add-Ons)". Click on this button to start the process of creating a new modifier group.



Step 3: Enter Group Details

A form will appear, prompting you to input various details for the new modifier group. Fill out the following fields:




Modifier Group Name: Provide a descriptive name for the modifier group.
Modifier Group Position: Set the position of the modifier group. This position determines the display order of the groups when customers are placing orders through the POS system.
Modifier Group Type: Choose between two options: Add-ons or modifiers. Select the appropriate type for your modifier group.
Modifier Group Display Name: Enter a display name that will be shown on the product customization screen. Make it clear and concise.
Modifiers: Select the individual modifiers that will be associated with this group. You can also mark a modifier as the default one.

Step 4: Advanced Settings

If needed, you can explore advanced settings to fine-tune your modifier group's behavior.
Does this Add-on have options?: Adjust this setting according to your needs.
How many modifiers must customers select?: Specify the minimum number of modifiers a customer must select. This enforces the selection of these modifiers before adding an order.
How many modifiers can the customer select?: Define the maximum number of modifiers a customer can select.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

After you've filled out the necessary information and configured the advanced settings, don't forget to save your changes. Look for a** Save or Confirm** button on the form and click it to finalize the creation of the new modifier group.

By following these steps, you can easily create a new modifier group and enhance the customization options for your products. This ensures that your customers can tailor their orders to their preferences, providing them with a more personalized dining experience.
