KDS - Overview of Item Summary

Your item summary is a crucial component that provides a concise overview of all the items you've purchased during your daily transactions. It gives you essential details, including the date and time of purchase, the categories of the items you bought, and the specific products you've ordered. To access your item summary, simply look to the left side of your KDS (Kitchen Display System).



Item Summary:



Date & Time: This section offers a timestamp of each transaction, enabling you to track when you made your purchases.
Category (e.g., Meals, Dessert, Salad, Soda): The category section categorizes your orders, helping you quickly identify the types of items you've bought.
Item Number (next to the bell icon): This number indicates the total number of orders within a specific category. It's a handy reference for understanding the volume of orders.
Products (e.g., Burrito Asada, Strawberry Ice Cream, Macaroni Salad, Coke): The products section lists the individual items you ordered, providing a detailed list of your purchases.
Item Number (total ordered products): This number represents the total quantity of each product ordered. It's especially useful when you need to assess the demand for specific items.
