KDS Quick Access Buttons

The following article will guide you in a quick simple steps on how to access each KDS buttons.

Become familiar with your KDS buttons by taking action. Achieving fluency in their functions can be simple and straightforward.

The kitchen display screen headers show the quick access buttons with the following functions:



Home

KDS default screen and will show new tickets.

Home Screen

History

History or the recall button uses to recall recently fulfilled tickets.

History Button

Served

This feature uses to display fulfilled or served tickets.

Served Button

Settings

Uses to customize your KDS and other settings.

Settings Button

Sort by Order

This feature will let you arrange the ticket in either ascending or descending order.

Ascending Order

Descending Order

Collapsed
This feature will minimize the number of tickets received.
Tap "Collapsed" to minimize all tickets.
Re-tap to return to the normal ticket view.

Item Summary

Item summary list all products/items’ orders (daily transaction).

Summary Shows:
Date & Time
Category (ex, Entrees, Appetizers, Salad)
Item number (beside bell icon) indicates the total number of orders in a category.
Products (Prime London Steak, Crispy Calamari, Steak Salad)
Item number indicates total ordered products.
