Recalling Fulfilled Tickets using KDS: A Step-by-Step Guide
Welcome to this comprehensive guide on efficiently retrieving fulfilled tickets using KDS (Kitchen Display System). After successfully serving orders, managing your ticket history becomes crucial. This guide will walk you through the process of recalling tickets via the HISTORY or SERVED tab using KDS for seamless ticket management.1. Access HISTORY or SERVED Tab:
After your orders have been completed and served, KDS allows you to recall tickets through the HISTORY or SERVED tab. Let's delve into the specifics:
INDIVIDUAL ITEMS: From the HOME display screen, you'll immediately spot the individual items that have been fulfilled. If you click the HISTORY button, you'll access the recently fulfilled items. Keep in mind that the HISTORY button will be highlighted in white, indicating that you're on that particular screen.
Note: At this point, individually fulfilled items can only be recalled through the HISTORY button since they are still associated with pending tickets.
The individually fulfilled items cannot be recalled nor displayed under the SERVED button yet because it is still a part of a pending ticket.
ENTIRE ORDER/TICKET: Both the HISTORY and SERVED tabs will showcase recently fulfilled or served tickets as soon as their status changes to "SERVED."
HISTORY Button: This button grants access to a history of fulfilled items and tickets, offering a comprehensive overview of past transactions.
SERVED Button: Similarly, the SERVED tab highlights fulfilled or served tickets, providing an at-a-glance view of your recently completed orders.
