Resetting Your Password on KDS

Managing a restaurant requires efficient tools, and the Kitchen Display System (KDS) is built to make operations easier. However, if you forget your password, you might find yourself temporarily hindered.

Follow this straightforward guide to reset your password on the KDS and get back to managing your restaurant seamlessly.

Step-by-Step Guide to Reset Your Password



Step 1: Sign In Screen
Start by navigating to the KDS sign-in screen. Here, you’ll see fields for your email address and password. Below the sign-in button, click on the “Forgot Your Password?” button.

Step 2: Forgot Password Screen
You will be directed to the 'Forgot Password' screen. Here, you have the option to enter either your registered email address or your mobile number. Enter the information that is most convenient for you and click on the 'SEND OTP' button.

Step 3: Verification Code
If you entered your email address, check your email for a verification code from eatOS. If you provided your mobile number, expect an OTP (One-Time Password) via SMS. Enter the received 4-digit code in the designated input fields on the 'Email Verification' screen and click 'SEND OTP'.

Step 4: Create a New Password
Once your verification code is accepted, you’ll be directed to the 'Create New Password' screen. Here, input your new password and confirm it by entering it again in the 'Re-Enter New Password' field. Ensure that your new password is different from any previous password. Click 'CREATE PASSWORD' to proceed.

Step 5: Password Updated
After creating your new password, you will see a confirmation screen indicating that your password has been updated successfully. Click 'Login' to return to the sign-in screen.

Return to the sign-in screen and log in using your new password. You should now have full access to your eatOS KDS.


Tips for Creating Strong Passwords



Use a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
Make it at least 8 characters long.
Avoid using easily guessable information, like your name or birthdate.
Use a different password for each account.
