Fulfilling Individual Items Using KDS (Kitchen Display System)

Welcome to our guide on efficiently fulfilling individual items using the Kitchen Display System (KDS). This tutorial will walk you through the process of fulfilling single items based on the preferences of your kitchen staff.

The KDS provides a seamless and convenient solution for managing single-item orders, streamlining your workflow, and enhancing overall efficiency.



Step 1: Select the blue eye icon on the item you wish to fulfill.




Step 2: The Icons will change as the order progresses.

a. Blue eye icon - New order status. The order was received but not processed yet.
b. Back arrow and red bell icon - Indicates the item is being prepared.
c. Back arrow and Check icon - Indicates the item is ready to serve.
d. Back arrow and Green served icon - Indicates item has been served.



Note: If you mistakenly select the wrong item, simply tap on the arrow icon and select the correct item to fulfill.

Step 3: The Items that have been successfully served will also disappear from the item summary field.




By following these simple steps, you can efficiently fulfill individual items using the KDS, ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen staff and the serving team. This system helps in maintaining order accuracy and timely service.
