Viewing Itemized Product Sales

Overview


The Itemized Sales report provides a detailed breakdown of products sold during a selected date and time range. It organizes sales by menu category and item, showing daily quantities, sales amounts, category totals, and sales mix percentages. This report is useful for analyzing product performance, identifying top-selling items, and monitoring sales trends across the week.


Navigation


Analytics & Reports > Product Sales > Itemized Sales




Report Filters


Use the filter at the top of the page to customize the report.


  1. Date Range: Select the date or date range for which you want to view itemized sales.
  2. Time Range: Choose the time period to include in the report.



Summary Section


The summary cards provide a quick overview of sales for the selected filters.


Field

Description

Net Sales

Total sales after discounts.

Discounts

Total discounts applied during the selected period.

Gross Sales

Total sales before deductions.

Tax

Total tax collected.

Tips

Total tips received.

Service Charge

Total service charge collected.

Total Amount

Final amount collected, including applicable charges.

Custom Refunded Amount

Total value of custom refunds processed during the selected period.



Category Summary


Each menu category is displayed in its own section.


The category header includes:


  • Category Name
  • Location
  • Avg By Cover - Average sales per customer cover for the category.
  • Amount - Total sales for the category.


Examples of categories may include:


  • Burgers
  • Desserts
  • Kids Menu
  • Salad


Itemized Sales Table


Each category contains a detailed table listing every item sold.


The report includes the following information:


Column

Description

SKU

Product SKU or identifier

Item

Product name

Mon - Sun Qty

Quantity sold each day of the week

Mon - Sun Amount

Sales amount for each day.

Total Qty

Total quantity sold during the selected period.

Total

Total sales amount for the item

Mix

Percentage contribution of the item within its category.



At the bottom of each category section, a Category Total row summarizes the total quantity and sales amount for all items in that category.


Understanding the Mix %


The Mix percentage shows how much each item contributes to the total sales of its category.


A higher percentage indicated that the item represents a larger share of category sales.


This metric can help identify:


  • Best-selling products
  • Low-performing items
  • Product popularity within each category


Export Report


Click the Export button in the upper-right corner to download the report.
