Overview
The “86 Report” in the eatOS dashboard Analytics & Reports module provides valuable insights into products that are out of stock, helping you manage inventory efficiently and prevent potential sales loss.
Accessing the 86 Report
From the dashboard, click on Analytics & Reports in the left-hand menu.
Under Gross Sales, select 86 Report.
Use the date range selector to choose the period you wish to analyze.

Understanding the 86 Report
The 86 Report provides a comprehensive list of items that have been marked as out of stock, along with actions taken and reasons.
Columns Explained:
Product Name: The name of the out-of-stock item.
Date: The date when the product was marked out of stock.
Actions: Number of times the action to mark the item as out of stock was taken.
Reason: Explanation for why the item is unavailable, such as “Product is out of stock for OrderOS”.
Quantity Left: Remaining inventory for the product, typically zero for items on the list.
