Introduction



In this guide, we will walk you through the process of adding, editing, archiving, unarchiving, and permanently deleting job types in your account.
Job types allow you to categorize different roles or positions within your organization, each with specific attributes such as job name, code, and rates.

Adding a New Job Type





Follow these steps to add a new job type to your account:

Step 1: Accessing Job Type Creation:

Click on “+ New Job Type”



Step 2: Entering Information:

Fill in the necessary information for the new job type:
Job Type Name: Enter the name of the job type.
Job Code: Provide a unique job code.
Job Type Color: Choose a color to represent the job type.
Default Rate: Specify the hourly rate for the job type.
Overtime Rate: Enter the rate for overtime hours.
Double Rate: Enter the rate for double-time hours.



Step 3: Saving the Job Type:

Click the “Save” button to create and save the new job type in your account.

Job code*Enter the job code
Job type colorSelect the preferred job type color
Default rate*Enter the applicable hourly rate
Overtime rate*Enter the applicable overtime rate
Double rate*Enter the applicable double rate

Editing and Archiving a Job Type





Learn how to edit and archive job types with the following steps:

Step 1: Editing a Job Type:

Locate the job type you wish to edit.
Select the “Edit” icon to modify the job type's details.



Step 2: Archiving a Job Type:
To remove a job type without permanent deletion:
Select “Archive” to move the job type to the archive.
Confirm by clicking “Yes, archive it!” or cancel by selecting “Cancel”



Unarchiving and Permanently Deleting a Job Type





Learn how to unarchive and permanently delete job types with these steps:

Unarchiving a Job Type:



Step 1: Navigate to the “Archive” tab.



Step 2: Locate the archived job type you wish to restore.

Step 3: Click the 3-dot icon associated with the job type.



Step 4: Select “Unarchive” to reactivate the job type.



Step 5: Confirm by clicking “Yes, unarchive it!” or remain on the archive by selecting “Cancel”.



Permanently Deleting a Job Type:



Step 1: From the “Archive” tab, find the archived job type to be permanently deleted.



Step 2: Click the 3-dot icon associated with the job type.



Step 3: Choose “Permanently Delete” to remove the job type permanently.



Step 4:Confirm by clicking “Yes, permanently delete it!” or cancel by selecting “Cancel” .
