Dashboard Menu Management - Courses

Navigating Courses



  1. Select Menu Management from the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Choose Courses to begin managing specific menu courses.


Courses Page Overview:



  • Tabs: Easily switch between Active and Archived courses for current and historical data.
  • Add New Course: Click the "+ New Course" button to create additional menu courses.
  • Course Organization: Arrange courses by position, like Appetizer, Salad, and Main Course.


Best Practices:


  • Set course colors and positions to enhance organization and visual appeal.
  • Keep course details current to reflect menu changes.
  • Ensure any dashboard updates align with other systems for consistency.





Adding or Creating New Course



Step-by-Step Guide:


Step 1: Navigate to the "Menu Management" section and locate the option labeled "Courses." Click on it to access the course management area.



Step 2: Add a New Course


Once in the course management section, you will find a button labeled “+ New Course”. Click on this button to initiate the course creation process.



Step 3: Enter Course Details


In the course creation window, you'll need to input specific information about the new course you're adding. Here are the details you'll be required to provide:



  • Course Name: Enter the name of the new course in this field.
  • Position: Select the position of the course. The position determines the sequence in which the course will be presented to learners.
  • Course Color Selection: Choose a color for the course. This can help visually differentiate between courses.
  • Auto Fire Time Interval: Set the time interval for when the course will be triggered after the completion of the previous course.

Course Name

Enter the course name.

Position

Select the course position – the course position will determine the sequence of the course to be served.

Course Color Selection

Select a course color.

Auto Fire Time Interval

This sets the time when to fire the course after the previous course is fired.


Step 4: Save the New Course


After entering all the necessary information, click the Save button to create the new course and add it to your platform.
