Dashboard - Restaurant Schedule

In this article, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process of managing your restaurant schedule using the eatOS Dashboard. Whether you need to add, edit, archive, unarchive, or permanently delete a schedule, we've got you covered. Let's dive in!

Adding a New Schedule

Log in to your eatOS Dashboard and navigate to the Restaurant tab.

Click on Schedule, then select + New Schedule.

Fill in the required details

Schedule Name*Name of the schedule
Schedule Date*Set the start date and end date of the schedule. The set schedule will reflect and take effect on all devices with the set start and end date
Schedule Days*Enabling scheduled days will give you the capacity to create schedules for different days. If enabled, configure the service schedule for each day of the week
Service Name*Enter the service name which also refers to the restaurant shift schedule
From Time*Set the start time of the schedule
End Time*Set the end time of the schedule
ActionTap the pencil or edit icon to edit the service schedule. Tap the trash icon to delete the service schedule

How to edit a restaurant schedule

To edit an existing schedule, tap the 3-dot icon next to it and select “Edit”. Update the necessary information and save your changes.

Archiving a Schedule

To archive, tap the “Archive” icon

Select “Yes, Archived it!” to archive the schedule or select “Cancel” to go back without deleting the schedule.

Unarchiving a Schedule

Access the “Archive” tab.

a. Click the 3-dot icon next to the archived schedule.

b. Choose “Unarchive” and confirm the action by selecting “Yes, unarchive it!” or opt for “Cancel” to retain the archive.

Permanently Deleting a Schedule

Go to the “Archive” tab.

a. Click the 3-dot icon next to the archived schedule.

b. Select “Permanently Delete” to remove the schedule permanently. Confirm by clicking “Yes, permanently delete it!” or choose “Cancel” to return to the archive.
