Dashboard Account Setting - Locations

Introduction


The eatOS dashboard makes managing multiple locations for your restaurant business simple. The Locations page in your account allows you to easily manage and update information for all your account locations.


How to Add a New Location



Step 1: Navigate to Account Settings and select Locations.



Step 2: Tap the “+ New Locations”



Step 3: Enter the required information and tap the Save to save the new location.

Restaurant Name*

Enter the restaurant name

Restaurant Type*

Select your restaurant type

Email

Enter the email address

Phone Number

Enter the associated phone number

Website

Enter your restaurant's online store URL or website.

Address Information

Address

Enter the restaurant address/location

Timezone

Choose the appropriate time zone.

Restaurant Features

Reservation

Enabling this feature allows your customers to reserve seats in advance

Order Ahead

Enabling this feature allows your customers to place advance orders.

Delivery

This feature enables your restaurant to accept delivery orders.

Split Check

This feature offers the possibility to split the payment among multiple customers.

Offline Mode

Activating this option will temporarily take your store offline.

Restaurant Settings

Inactivity Timer

By enabling this feature, you can set an automatic closing time for your point-of-sale system when no activity is detected.

Language

Set the primary language to be utilized across the entire application.

Currency

Set the accepted currency.

Tax Alias

Allows selection of a preferred tax label.



How to Edit or Update Locations


Step 1: Tap on the Date section and select Edit



Step 2: Update your restaurant location.

Fixed Deposit Time

This functionality allows the fixed deposit time to be set as the designated deposit time.

Reports

By enabling this feature, employees will be required to enter the manager's PIN in order to access the reports.

End of Day

By enabling this feature, employees will be required to enter the manager's PIN in order to access the end-of-day reports.

Select the end of day/week time

Daily Operating Hours

Start Time

Specify the starting time for daily operations.

End Time

Specify the end time for daily operations.

How to Archive a Location


Step 1: Hover over the date selection and select Archive.



Step 2: Choose "Yes, archive it!" to confirm your selection, or select "Cancel" to go back without archiving the location.




How to Unarchive a Location


Step 1: To unarchive a location, select the Archive tab then tap the 3-dot icon.


Step 2: Select Unarchive


Step 3: Choose "Yes, unarchive it!" to confirm your selection or select "Cancel" to remain archive.



How to Permanently Delete a Location


Step 1: To permanently delete a location, select the Archive tab tap the 3-dot icon.


Step 2: Select Permanently Delete


Step 3: Choose "Yes, permanently delete it!" to confirm your selection or select "Cancel" to remain archive.
